The Andrews ISD Daycare is an early care and learning program providing an age appropriate and developmentally appropriate educational foundation for children of district employees. The daycare welcomes children, Infants through 5 years old.

The AISD Daycare opened in August 2016 at Clearfork Elementary campus to provide child care for the employees of Andrews Independent School District.

MISSION STATEMENT
At Andrews ISD Daycare, our number one priority is the safety of each and every child. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, encouraging, and nurturing environment. Children will be introduced to a developmentally appropriate theme-based curriculum focused on building both social and academic skills in preparation for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.

LICENSING
The AISD Daycare is licensed and regulated by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The minimum standards serve as the basic operational guidelines.

The daycare, as a district entity, is responsible to adhere to all district policies. Daycare employees must abide by the Employee Handbook, as well as demonstrate a working knowledge of state licensing regulations, AISD Daycare's Policies and Procedures, and any other validating/credentialing agencies the daycare partners with.

NEW FACILITY
In September of 2019, the AISD Board of Trustees approved the funding from the 2018 Bond to build an expansion at Clearfork Elementary. With the expansion for future growth, the Andrews ISD Daycare will have a new home.

During the construction, the daycare was moved to Devonian Elementary for the last 14 months. The building is set to be completed December 2020 and the daycare will move back to the Clearfork campus starting August 2021.
