Operations Mail Services
| With six different school
campuses conducting day to day business, it is imperative that the school district
maintain a daily schedule for picking up and delivering interdepartmental and U.S. mail to
each campus and department. The department sends out in excess of 70,000 pieces of mail
each school year. All tax statements and notices are processed through the school mail
room. The mail is processed through a computerized
Neopost mailing and postage
machine. All mail is collected
by the school mail department, sorted, and delivered to each campus. Out-going mail is
collected, sorted, and then taken to the U.S. post office for mailing. All freight
deliveries are received or shipped from the central mail room located in the school
administration building. All special deliveries are received or sent through the central
mail room. Multimedia materials, kits, workshop information, and printed correspondence
from and to Region 18 ESC is handled through the mail room. Pickup/delivery days for
Region 18 are early Tuesday and Friday. |

- Region 18 ESC truck comes to Andrews:
Tuesday before 8:00 a.m. and on Friday about 10:00 a.m.
|
- Incoming mail is picked up at the Post
Office at 9:00 a.m. daily.

- Outgoing mail is taken to the Post Office
by 4:00 p.m. daily.
